What we imagine for our community
Quality, not quantity
We are not looking for HUGE numbers to join us at our events or in the community itself. What we do want, is to create a space where real connections can be made, where people can come to get the support they need be this either ad hoc or longer term.
The community is a platform for product leaders to give back whenever they have the time or the energy.
Mentorship
We offer mentoring in a slightly different way at the female product lead. We are outcome driven in our approach meaning if a mentee has an immediate, short term or long term need we can provide a solution. From our Speed Mentoring events, to ad hoc mentoring within the community through to longer term traditional mentoring relationships but with the added benefit of peer and leadership support for mentors we ensure that everyone is set up for success.
We welcome female product leaders of today or allies, to participate as mentors, community thought leaders and speakers at our events
We welcome aspiring female product leaders of tomorrow to participate as peer mentors, mentees, community advocates, event champions
To participate in our mentorship program you need to become a community member to benefit from all the support and networking we put around our program. Mentors new and accustomed get peer support as well as peer to peer ongoing mentoring.

Networking & Events
Whilst the deep and tangible connections that are made through mentoring are core to the success of real empowerment we recognise that there are also significant benefits and opportunities from networking both online and through planned events
All members and non members are invited to participate and encouraged to be advocates of this community of female product leaders. Whether they are members or not we ask everyone to engage and look for ways to champion and hold other women up wherever possible. This is how we thrive together.
To date we have run a series of SPEED MENTORING EVENTS that have been incredibly successful in how people have come to give and to receive support in both day to day challenges and career progression.
Due to the success of these events we will plan to offer more of these both In Person and Virtual in order to give everyone, no matter where they are located or their ability to travel the chance to participate. To take part in our upcoming events please join the community.

This was a huge success and gave us the little push we needed to make this into a THING for the Female Product Lead community.
