Our team

Beks Yelland

Founder

I started this back in 2022 because I felt there was an unmet need for women in product roles to know what “good” looks like when it comes to female product leadership in tech. I myself had not had the chance to be inspired by any female product leaders in my career and I wanted to fix that - and now I am inspired every day..... I am so proud of what our community has become and that we are able to stick to a core principal of FREE now FREE forever due to the generosity of our expert speakers and hosts! Our vision is what drives us in every event, any content we put out there - and how we CLEAR the path to INCLUSIVE product leadership

Catherine Damisa

Event Director

After completing my master’s and with my maternity leave coming to an end, I wanted to join a community that would help me transition back to work while also allowing me to give back. FPL provided the support and mentorship I needed during this time. FPL gave me this platform to step up as Events Director, where I could lead, build my confidence, create meaningful experiences, and support others in their growth. Through hosting and curating events, I’ve found purpose in helping women connect, build confidence, and thrive together in a supportive, empowering environment.

Hannah Sims

Co Chair / Event Lead

I’m Hannah, Co-Chair here at Female Product Lead. I’ve always been passionate about helping women in tech find their voice, own their space, and lead with confidence. I joined Beks and the incredible FPL team to help build the kind of community I wish I’d had earlier in my career - one that’s real, honest, and rooted in genuine support. A place where we lift each other up and grow together.

Meg Porter

Co Founder & Head of Growth & Partnerships

I’m Meg Porter, Co-founder and Chief Growth Officer here at the Female Product Lead. I joined Beks and the wonderful FPL team to help grow our impact by connecting purpose-led organisations and individuals to our vision of Inclusive Product Leadership. I identify as a woman in product—but also as an immigrant, a parent, disabled, and neurodivergent. I’m passionate about helping others embrace what makes them unique as innovators and leaders, and bring that value into their teams, organisations, and the products we put into the world.

Katie Blainey

Head of Mentoring Program

Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to have inspiring and supportive mentors, both women and men: who have helped shape my journey. However, I recognise that not everyone has access to the same opportunities, and that equity is not going to happen without people putting the work in, so I was driven to join the team at FPL with a focus on the mentoring program. While we have come a long way, there is still so much more to do to help more under-represented people have a seat at the table. Mentoring and sponsorship play a key role in driving this change. I see the Female Product Lead as a key player in helping others on their journey.

Graham Reed

Ally In Residence

I'm Graham, and I am proud to be the Ally in Residence here at Female Product Lead. I've always been passionate about elevating the voices of those who are under-represented or less confident, as well as tackling topics most others will not, especially mental health and neurodivergence. I joined FPL early on, initially as a community advisor, before becoming more passionate, more involved, and was honoured step into the Ally in Residence role to guide thinking on how allies like myself support, amplify and celebrate female product leaders.

Ana Woodrow

COO

I'm Ana and I'm the COO here at The Female Product Lead.
I still remember sitting in meetings early in my career, the only woman at the table, reporting to a male engineering manager, with no strong, female, product mentors around me. I've had to figure things out on my own for so long, until I found The Female Product Lead. I finally belonged. That's why I'm now on the leadership team, making sure our operations run smoothly and efficiently, so when women join the community, they get the support I was missing. I'm excited to see how many women we can reach and what they'll achieve when they're not figuring it out alone.

Etmonia Iwugo

Partnerships & Growth Director

As a woman in product with 7 years in tech and over a decade in banking before that, I’ve experienced two very different worlds. What stands out most? Community. I’ve learned that inclusion isn’t just important, it’s essential to thrive in tech. As Partnerships and Growth Director at Female Product Lead, I’m passionate about creating opportunities for women to lead confidently, collaborate meaningfully, and grow together in the tech ecosystem. I’m committed to building partnerships with organisations and individuals that share inclusion as a core value, because together, we can drive lasting and significant impact.
